About

Mateusz Prowans

I am a 21 year old student from Poland, currently living in Tokyo, Japan. Despite my major being Computer Science, I have a strong passion for photography and coding.

My journey in photography started as a hobby, but it quickly turned into a passion that I pursue with dedication. I love capturing moments and creating visual stories through my lens.

In addition to photography, I am also an avid coder. I enjoy exploring new technologies and building projects that solve real-world problems. My coding skills range from web development to data analysis, and I am always eager to learn more.

Sony Alpha 7 II

I started my photography journey with an old digicam, quickly got a DSLR, and then I knew I need a full-frame camera. My Sony Alpha 7 II is my trusty companion, and I love capturing the world through its lens. It has never let me down, since the day I bought it.

Japan being said to be the most photogenic country in the world, is the perfect place for me to explore my passion. I love capturing the beauty of nature, the emotions of people, and the stories that unfold in front of me.

My Coding Journey

I started coding when I was 7 years old, and it has been a passion of mine ever since.

I love exploring new technologies and building projects that demand my creativity and problem-solving skills.

I have tried my fair share at creating games, building web applications, and even dabbling in data analysis, but there is nothing more satisfying than creating something that seems to be breaking the rules - just like my visual novel game Projekt Zero run completely in Windows 10 Command Prompt. Including 3D.

Games

The games I published were mostly entries to various Game Jams I participated in.

My most satisfying achievement was developing an engine for Command Prompt oriented games. Three of those are available at my itch.io, with the one I am most proud of being Projekt Zero.

Web apps

Despite my heart being filled with hate towards JavaScript, I learned to love it - thus making Web Applications became a hobby of mine.

My applications range from internal projects, real time and detailed telemetry analysis through life innovating software's to silly projects.

Embedded

In high school I came across point, where I had to extend my programming skills to the overworld dimension. The answer was simple - embedded systems.

With microcontrollers, such as ESP32, Raspberry solutions and other sweetboards I managed to finish a wide variety of projects, audio synchronized RGB LED system, retrieving running car engine parameters or my favourite one - handy lua programmable RGB LED keychain.
